Haveli District is 200-Km  Road distance from Islamabad  (capital city of Pakistan) via lehtrar and  road 6-7 hours Drive, the headquarter of this district is "FORWARD KAHUTA" a samll town but big town of  this district haveli, and situated altitude approximately 8000 feet above see level, heavy snowfall occurs in winter season. 

Highest peak in this area are "HAJI PEER" LASDANA , and KALAMULA

Journey to Neelam Valley Azad kashmir Pakistan.

It was my dream to travel across Kashmir valley,Pakistan but i was confused how to start and where to start, once i met with a great traveler Mr. Akram Awan who traveled across the Pakistan and have a great knowledge about hiking and tracking. so we planed a hiking and tacking tour to Neelam valley Azad kashmir with 5 members. our journey start from Islamabad (capital city Pakistan).

Neelam Valley Distance, travel time and cost:

The road distance of Neelam valley from Islamabad approx 200-Km, and travel time by local Bus 6-7 hours by taxi/car 4-5 hours. you can get local transport from Rawalpindi/Islamabad Pirwadai General bus Stand, Average local bus fare Rs:450 to 500 (3.5-4 US $ ).

Ratti Gali lake 

Our main destination was ratti gali lake (above picture shown), start traking from DEWARIAN bus stop at main Neelam-Muzaffarabad road. From dewarian bus stop to ratti gali lake is approx: 18-20 km distance. Lush green track and fresh blue water drain alongside.

Above picture is  near staring point and track is comfortable, as travel little ahead, more greenery  area comes.

we camping at ratti gali lake and cooking there ate chicken 

after spending 4-5 days in neelam valley came back to home with tons of sweet memories.
